Mahwa, NJ: Honda dealer offers sexy hybrid sports car
Mahwa, NJ: Honda dealer lots recently became more aesthetically pleasing upon the arrival of the newest addition to the Honda line up, the Honda CR-Z. The Honda CR-Z is a sports car meets hybrid meets affordability. What's more, its compact nature (in addition to the fact that it's fuel efficient) fits well into the increasingly urban lifestyles that a good majority of us are living. As is to be expected, the first production model of the CR-Z could use a few tweaks here and there, but all in all the 2011 Honda CR-Z is a highly desirable vehicle, and it sells for a great price.
The Outside:The Honda CR-Z looks like the other Hondas that you'll find on your Hudson Valley new Honda dealer lot. The CR-Z also looks like a sports car, and it even looks a little bit like the car in Back to the Future. The roofline meets the front windshield rather far back and from there, the windshield slopes steadily down to meet the front hood, which continues the downward sloping trend. From here the grille takes over, which due to the fact that it is quite large and prominent, it makes up most of the front of the vehicle.
When looking at the vehicle on the Hudson Valley new Honda dealer lot, the rear of the vehicle is much different from the front as it forms a nearly perfect right angle where the roof turns down to the back end. Looking at the vehicle from behind, the eye has the pleasure of some good curves, which are unnoticeable when looking at the vehicle from the side.
The Inside:The interior of the Honda CR-Z only seats two people, which can be thought of as both a positive attribute and a negative one. Since we prefer the glass to be half full, we'll explore the positive attributes of a two-seater. To start, a majority of the time a vehicle is used, only one person is along for the ride. Thus, the CR-Z is practical and, because it is smaller, it is cheaper to drive.
Another plus to the two seats in the Honda CR-Z is the fact that Honda engineers included plenty of cargo space, provided your cargo isn't in the form of people. The rear of the interior has two compartments for holding whatever. Additionally, the back "wall" lies down, adding to the available space from the trunk. For a two-seater, the Honda CR-Z offers loads of cargo space.
Under the Hood:As mentioned above, the Honda CR-Z is a hybrid vehicle, employing a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine that couples with an electric motor, which uses a 100-volt, nickel-metal hydride battery pack. Combine these gadgets with the vehicle's six-speed manual transmission and it's no surprise that the Honda CR-Z earns an impressive 31 miles per gallon in the city. This number jumps to 37 miles per gallon during highway driving.
The Honda CR-Z is priced at a base of just over $19,000 and is available for purchase at your local Mahwa, NJ Honda dealer. For more information or to test drive the sexy hybrid meets sports car meets practicality vehicle, visit your Honda dealer today.
