Skoda Rapid is India launching new premium sedan car model by the Czech auto maker Skoda Auto. Presently, the company includes only entry level luxury and luxury sedan car models in its Indian stable but now, the it has planed to enter the Indian premium sedan car market with launch of Skoda Rapid very soon. The new Skoda Rapid launch in India is expected by end of November this year. To beat already available rivals, the company will offer this new sedan car to the Indian customers in competitive price range.
The all new Skoda Rapid appears just like popular entry level luxury sedan Skoda Laura which has been most popular among competitors. The expected Skoda Rapid price would start at Rs. 8 lakh ex-showroom Delhi while top-end model may for Rs. 9 lakh. The new Skoda Rapid features and specifications are just like a premium sedan car model and it is expected to give stiff competition to Volkswagen Vento, Toyota Etios, Maruti SX4, Honda City, Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Verna which are dominating the segment.
